    Scenario

    For this first week, you will get to explain the basic decisions about the type of food truck you are creating and the initial strategy you are implementing. Before getting started, make sure you have read through the River Bluff research.
    Remember that your initial truck is very basic but that you will have a chance to upgrade it in the coming weeks.

    Instructions

    In a professionally written Word document, lay out the basic details about your food truck. Explain the reasoning for all of your choices. 

    • Identify the following basic information: (suggested length – one paragraph).
    • Choose your business name.
    • Explain the concept/theme and cuisine.
    • Determine if your prices will be low, medium, or high, and which district of the map you’ll park your truck in to sell during the day.
    • Explain two trends in the external environment that will impact your food truck business either positively or negatively. Identify which external environment category each trend is from (economic, legal, competitive, social, technological, or global) and their potential impact (suggested length – two paragraphs).
    • Choose one of these external trends that you believe will play a role in either the supply or demand of your food truck business. Explain its impact and how the trend could potentially change your pricing (suggested length – one paragraph).

    Remember, all decisions should work together to attract the same type of customer.
