1) Do some research on Juneteenth. What is the historical significance of the holiday? Include names, places, and dates as relevant.
2) Did you attend the performance in person or virtually? What were some of your general thoughts about the show?
3) Do some research on the performers. From your research, what can you deduce about them/their work as artists?
4) Get specific. What did you notice about the themes of addressed in the music/poetry? Refer to the work of specific poets by name and try to include at least one quote, paraphrase or description of what you heard.
